HOUSE OF PRAYER EPHESUS

is situated in the grounds of St.John's Catholic Church, on the corner of

Nudgee and Fraser roads, Northgate.( UBD Map 121 , A , 1 .

This is the gathering place for Joshua Prayer Groups and Ministries,

which is a Lay Catholic Charismatic Organisation, operating

in the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

HOUSE OF PRAYER EPHESUS  has recently been renovated and is now available to hire for Spiritual Formation

of Christian Prayer, Scripture Sharing,Teaching & Retreat Days.  Short term accommodation is also

available on site, which gives the opportunity of a week end Retreat, as a means of Spiritual Renewal.

THE MAIN GATHERING ROOM is air conditioned (reverse cycle) with a PA system, Video Player,

Television, O.H. Projector, and White Board to make this area an excellent teaching space .

An organ and piano are available for Praise and Worship Ministry .

The main room seats approximately 100 people but folding doors can be opened to double the size .

A PRAYER ROOM is situated next to the Gathering Room. This area includes seating for quiet reflection,

and offers an organ for music ministry.

There is a small LIBRARY AND RESOURCE AREA. Books can be borrowed on an honour basis,

just register your details in the book provided, and return items at a later date.

KITCHEN FACILITIES  include refrigerator, microwave oven, stove, cooking utensils crockery and cutlery.

There is a large eating area provided.  ( ALL MEALS ARE BYO )

OVER NIGHT ACCOMMODATION : Six  private twin rooms downstairs  ( 12 single beds ) and

8 dormitorystyle beds upstairs. Pillows, sheets, quilts etc. are BYO.

TOILET  AND SHOWER FACILITIES are on site ; Towels and toiletries are BYO.

COSTS ARE VERY REASONABLE  Rate :

Minimum $90.00 per day for daily hire of facilities including the use of the kitchen area. Half day is $ 50.00.

OVER NIGHT ACCOMMODATION is available at a cost of $15.00  per night per person for twin share rooms

and $10.00 per night per person for dormitory style beds.

PARISH MASS is celebrated in St. John's Church at 8am each Sunday.
